Nice place strangely enough. After driving by here multiple times I managed to come here. The food is really good and makes a good grab and go. Note: There is like no place to sit so your best bet is to grab the food you like and go. There seems to be a lot of dough related foods as well as some Taiwanese specialties. They also have some cool drinks here from TW aside from other selections that you see in the US. The service is nice in the way whomever helped me explained everything for me to understand. Drawback: Signs are in Chinese and if you cannot read it things can be difficult. However this doesn't mean GIVE UP. The staff was nice enough to explain everything in English if needed. I was amazed by how they responded back in English. Don't be shocked if they do. I don't like the prices but it is what it is.

5* for their vegetarian chive pockets / boxes, black sesame filled fried sesame balls, and taro buns! Their chive boxes / pockets are vegetarian-friendly, and so delicious that I'll periodically make a trip down from the city just to stock up on them! Their taro buns are also really satisfying (not too sweet, which is one of the highest compliments an asian person can give), and our whole family loves the fried sesame balls that are filled with black sesame - a rare treat and not something I've encountered elsewhere.

WOWWWW deeply impressed. super home made and quality taste!! got pork buns, beef buns, thousand layer meat pie, 2 kinds of sticky rice in bamboo leafs, one purple rice roll with pork song and Chinese donut, 2 diff kinds of sesame pastries and one sesame walnut moon cake! everything was really good! some of the highlight below: -the dough of thousand layer meat pie was so chewy and much better than i thought. -Beef buns were a special and they were super flavorful and very generous of the filling too! -Pork buns were probably the only things that were not "as special" since i have had better elsewhere but still, it's that homey taste i really like!

Solid place with generous portion. Menus were not salty at all, so it was a big plus for me. Rice cake desert was pretty amazing. Would try other menus next time.

This place is a low-key, hole in the wall place... great for takeaway snacks, mooncake, fantuan, silken tofu... being able to speak Mandarin here is a plus. Service is direct and abrupt - adds to an authentic feel in this busy shop this way - I don't mind the lack of friendliness. The food is fresh, made in house and quality around 4/5... pretty good but I've had some better elsewhere. But the variety of dian xin available for Grab-n-Go is wonderful and worth it. From pig feet, tofu, vegetables, soy milk, chive pie, bao dz, frozen dumplings, ... sooo many things here. There are better fantuan elsewhere but it's convenient here. The Mooncakes have so many types/flavors - taro, pineapple, red bean... about a dozen different types. I dropped a small fortune here on Mooncakes - $6-7/ea! Great shop for picking up Chinese treats, especially around holidays and special occasions.

Green onion pancake and the stuffed chive pancake were underwhelming. There's no seasoning/salt so it just tasted like raw dough. I agree it is not crispy like how restaurants make cong you bing (or how I make it at home), but maybe their style is to make it more doughy. I would not reorder these and sadly, I'll have to just toss them because they taste wrong to me. I will not rate these because I think they had an off day (everyone raved about the chive pancake) and maybe their style is just doughy. Fan Tuan (rice burrito) and you tiao (Chinese donut) hit the spot. I agree the fan tuan is a little wet. I thought the rice ratio to filling was good/normal. 4/5 Service - I can't speak mandarin well so they were accommodating. They did offer other goods they sold to see if I would be interested. I didn't interpret this as being pushy. I thought they were polite and just doing business :)

Quick to-go spot for ready-to-eat or frozen meals. Their freezers were stocked with dozens of bags of frozen dumplings (50 per bag) and cold side dishes like seaweed salad and pig ear. They also sell hot food by the box and had incredibly fresh and crispy green onion pancakes and beef rolls.
